Founder and Owner Gill Leeden, a qualified nurse, was trained at the Institute of Lasertrolysis in Florida where all aspects of hair growth problems including PCOS (Polycycstic Ovarian Syndrome) were examined.

By the completion of her training, Gill decided to use the GentleLaser Plus Alexandrite Laser for dedicated hair removal.  The decision was easy as consumer market research indicated that the flash lamp system (or IPL) was not as effective as a true laser.   In addition, various clinical papers commented that many clients using this system were more susceptible to burning.  Some clients were reporting that IPL required many treatments and of course, a lot of money, to do what a laser could do in half the time.
